Who sat and watched my infant head when sleeping on my cradle head, “My Mother” This a well known poem which tells about the value of a mother to a child at all time, even at her own disadvantage. As we all know every mother wants to make sure their kids are good, then they will think about themselves later, It is good to know that the priority of every good and loving mother is to consider their kids first above every other thing.
There are times we need to realize the value of a mother in our lives and how it affects us positively. Our mothers have always been there for us since we were infants, they thought us caution and directed us in all we do, even as teenagers they make sure they correct our mistakes, they try their best to make sure we do the right thing. As adults they always do their best to advice us.
Sometimes, some of us seek advice from our mothers concerning our jobs, spouse and businesses. Just like Abraham Lincoln once said of his mother, “All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my… mother.” The truth is that what we are today or hope to be tomorrow we always owe to our mothers because of their teachings and directions.
Our mothers have contributed immensely to us, our family, our society, our countries and the world, just because of what they have impacted in us, they always have a great influence for good in our lives which starts from when we were little till when we became adults. There is another interesting quote by Napoleon Bonaparte which says “The future destiny of a child is always the work of the mother.” “Let France have good mothers and she will have good sons”. and these applies to every society and individuals today and at all times.
Every day that we leave the house to go to school, to go to work and to our businesses, the prayers of our mothers over our heads when we were infants until now, always has a great influence on us. Our mothers are the strong foundation of whatever we are today, they are always there for us even if the world, friends abandon and care less about us. The funny thing is, even if a child is old, he or she is still that little child to their mother and she tries her best to guide them like the mother hen protects her little ones from harm’s way.
The love of a mother to a child knows no bounds and this helps in shaping our cultures, individual personalities and the society at large. Our well-being is based on a mothers availability and love for us. A Mothers love has a great impact on the welfare, upbringing, and development of a child. The first lesson a child learns from a mother is love and that natural bond which is always between a child and a mother no matter what the age.
When a mother is going home from her business or work she is always happy to go home to the kids she loves and cares for. There are times that we get upset because of one thing or the other that our mothers did to us, the truth is they are human and it would be best for us to try our best to reconcile with them because they are that precious jewel that we need to keep in a safe place for admiration at all times and they are never replaceable.
